Many and more people are moving to the countryside. Why is this happening? Do you think it is a positive or negative development?
Â
Living in the countryside imbues a person with contentment, while a city life provides better financial stability. Both have their positive sides; however, I opine this to be a negative development, as it is causing immensely overpopulated cities and other health hazards that come along. In the following passages, I intend to articulate on both the side and put forth my view.
Migrating to an urban culture can assist many families. For example, a pass out from rural college may only be able to find a suitable career opportunity in the far located companies. Hence, many graduates get prompted to move away from the countryside. Career aspirations are promoted in cities year after year which is a positive aspect for the individual and also at a national level.
On the other hand, an overcrowded urban area is a result of the moving population from the countryside. The lifestyle in the high rising buildings surrounded by city pollution may seem disastrous when compared to the serenity of a small town. Dwelling in a modern area also brings the fast pace of living accompanied by stress and anxiety. Although the payslip may fill the pockets, it often never tends to replace the gap of the natural and healthy surroundings contained in an urban village.
To summarize, the enhancing need for human resources in the megacities is the primary ground for relocating citizens. Notwithstanding the financial stability that can be gained while living in cities, the tranquility and healthy lifestyle of the countryside can never be replaced.Â
